Grant Progress Reporting

All JRF grantees are required to submit an interim progress report at the six month interval and a final report after twelve months. The due dates and performance indicators are provided in the JRF Letter of Agreement under "Reporting Requirements." Previously, grantees submitted a narrative explanation based on the indicators provided; however a specific format or form was not imposed.

The Foundation recognized the importance of uniformity in data collection for the evaluation process. We designed a Grant Progress Report Form as an integral component of our improved grant making strategy. The new form is effective for use beginning with the interim reports that will be required for the spring 2010 grant cycle.

We encourage each grantee to consider the progress reporting exercise as an opportunity to "prove" as well as "improve" the impact of their project within the community. JRF considers this very valuable information when measuring the overall impact of its grant program.

If you have any questions regarding the new Grant Progress Report Form please contact the JRF grant program officer.
